Hello, it's been a long time, again. I meant to update on New Year, so here it is. Happy Belated Chinese New Year! This March is certainly coming in like a lion. It will be a lion all the way until maybe the middle/end of the month or in April when the lamb will be here to stay, I hope. Haha. So, there's the play at the beginning of March for three days. Right after is the All-City performance. Then, is the Carver Science Fair, the French Contest and the NHD project a week or so after. Yay! I have to say I'm glad I'm not involved with all of those activities. I would be a huge mess. All the people are dealing with it quite well though, I really admire their ability to organize everything. I would have fell apart. Haha. I am so pathetic...
I joined Gaia and now I am quite obsessed. I live there now. Heehee.
Today we had the African American workshops. The first one, Stepping Across the Water, was interesting I guess and interactive. It was just really humiliating for me. I really can't dance. My knee is not entirely healed and so I didn't particularly enjoy it, though it was fun, I guess in a way. Funny with all the mistakes we were making. Hmm...Can't remember what else I wanted to say. I'll put it up if I ever remember. Well, I'm still around and I'm not abandoning Xanga yet.
OMGSH, I found some more quotes when I was "cleaning" my room for Chinese New Year. Gosh, it was cleaner before I "cleaned." Haha.
"How did you become blind, uh, Jeff, is it?" <-Jeff is actually Iggy
"Yeah, Jeff. Well, I looked directly at the sun, you know, the way they always tell you not to. If only I had listened."
*~*
"Can we see him?" Iggy asked.
"Ig, I hate to break this to you, but you're blind," I said, my relief making me tease him. "However, in a little while you can go and listen to him breathe and maybe talk to him."
*~*
"Yeah, because you're so handicapped," I said sarcastically. "Like-you can't build bombs or cook or win at Monopoly. You can't tell us all apart by the feel of our skin or feathers."
These are all from Maximum Ride: Schools' Out-Forever, obviously, I don't own it because my name is obviously not James Patterson. My writer's block make it hard for me to write a complete chapter. <sigh> Haha, finally finished the list I created from reading last year. I find them to be hilarious. It probably makes more sense if you read the book or understand the story and know the people.
